Charlotte Tilbury Unisex Healthy Glow Hydrating Summer Tint Moisturiser Review

Another Charlotte Tilbury Review? Well why the hell not? A few weeks ago I received the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand (Reviewed Here) with my Latest In Beauty Box, because there was a mix-up with the boxes, I was sent this as a replacement for one of the items I ordered. I was elated, as Charlotte Tilbury products (as we all know) are very expensive, and I've being dying to try them for a while, but unfortunately my bank account wasn't letting me.

Anywho, let's have a look at the product shall we?

So this is the Healthy Glow Hydrating Summer Tint Moisturiser. It's basically a tinted moisturiser with extra hydration for parched skin in the summer months.

WHAT MAKES HEALTHY GLOW MAGIC:
• This is summer-in-a-bottle all year round
• Natural tan pigments are revealed once blended into the skin for a natural-looking tan
• Natural moisturising actives contain a combination of moisture regulating ingredients that mimic bouncy lipids in your skin
• Morphs to your skin tone for the perfect looking glow for men AND women
• Ideal for a hydrating, naturally glowing skin

Its rather clever as it has a colour adapting formula: It starts off white and rather scary looking if I'm honest, then once you start to blend the product the colour 'adapts' to your skin tone.

The one thing which really annoys me about this product is the lack of sun screen protection as this is a product I would use on days where I can't be bothered to do a full face of foundation and just want something quick and easy which helps me look half human after being up with Emmy all night!

The big things to remember about this product is that: A little bit goes ALONG way; you only need a tiny amount (a pea sized amount) to do a whole face

AND

BLEND BLEND BLEND! Honestly when I first used it, it just looked sooo orange on my pale skin, but once I got used to the product and realised that I had to blend it, to make it work, I decided that I really bloody liked it!

It gives a lovely effortless 'glow' not glittery but just lovely and glowy. Like my skin but with a lovely filter. It contains no glitter or sparkle, yet leaves the skin looking luminous!

However if your very pale: This will be far too dark (its almost too dark for me) So just be wary (maybe ask for a sample of it before purchasing) Although I think that if this becomes a more popular product (And thanks to Wayne Goss who gave it glowing reviews (excuse the pun) It looks like it may become a cult beauty product.

I have quite clear skin and can wear this on its own without feeling like I need extra coverage (I do however use concealer around my eyes to cover dark circles)

Because it is so lightweight it often feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. It's perfect for lazy days where you still want to feel done up. Although it doesn't cover imperfections, it does blur out the redness and discolouration on my skin, and makes me feel more confident to go out without having to worry about a full face of make-up.

Because its a moisturiser it makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated, it doesn't break me out and it doesn't rub off throughout the day.

If your looking for a quick and easy product then this is the one for you: It gives your skin a beautiful glow without looking like you've been rubbing your face in bad fake tan.

Anyone could wear this as its very light and doesn't make the skin look overly done up: It just leaves a lovely subtle glow.

I'm about to use a really cheesy blogger line here, so do excuse me: BUT it is honestly like an Instagram filter in a bottle. And honestly I wouldn't use that phrase if it wasn't true.

MAC Strobe Cream Mini Review

Strobing is something I'd never even heard of until I started watching Rupauls Drag Race a few years ago (in the Sharon Needles Era: AKA the good ol' days!) Strobing has been described as overdone highlighting: However strobing to me is not only highlighting certain facial features but also adding dimension and texture to the area too. Admittedly, its not something I would bother doing every day. But on special occasions I like to highlight my favourite features (usually my cheekbones)  I received the MAC Strobe Cream as a little try-out sample after buying too many lipsticks over on the MAC website. I was pretty chuffed as I've wanted to try out the Strobe Cream for ages now!  MAC describe the Strobe Cream as 'a  moisturiser that boosts the look of dull skin and luminises with iridescent particles' So perfect for my tired skin that needs a bit of a boost!  I love the little packaging, in fact I would say I'm a bit obsessed with miniature ve...

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer Review

I'm obsessed with concealers, and I'm always on the hunt for the perfect one! I currently use the Nars Radiant Concealer ( Review Here ) for under my eyes and the Benefit Boi-ing Concealer for spots etc.  I recently purchased the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer as I'd read good reviews online and I wash hoping it might be a dupe for my trusty Nars Concealer.  Firstly there is one massive downside to this concealer: There are only THREE Shades! That just seems lazy! Especially in this day and age where you can purchase some concealers which have over 30 shades to choose from!  I have the shade 'Light' and for once, it is indeed actually Light! It's gorgeously pale (it may even be too pale for some people, so I would suggest swatching it next to the other shades if unsure)  It is specifically designed for the delicate eye area and it offers 24 hour hydration to the area around the eyes to offer hydration throughout the day, leaving eyes...

Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil Review

An oil for your face? Yes, Yes, Yes! If you would have told me years ago, when I was a hormonal teenager with many breakouts to use oil on my face I would have laughed at you, but the Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil, has made such a difference to my skin, I am a complete oil convert.  I have quite red, sensitive, often sore skin and this calms it right down. Its deeply nourishing and hydrating. I've heard it described as a conditioner for the skin.  I usually use it a night when my skin is looking dry and frazzled. As you can see with the roller-ball application, you just roll it onto the skin (I swipe across each cheek and my forehead) and then gently massage into the skin. Its just such a gorgeous and luxurious feeling treat for the skin.  It has never broke me out and it has kept my skin feeling and looking a lot more luminous. It doesn't make my skin shinny and doesn't leave any kind of weird residue on the skin; leaving my skin feeling moisturised and l...
