Make Up Forever Camouflage Cream Concealer Palette Review

I'm obsessed with concealers, and when I saw this Makeup Forever Camouflage Palette for £7.99 in TK Maxx, I figured for that price what have I got to lose?

As you can see you get 5 different coloured concealers. I have the concealer palette #1 for very light complexions.

The palette is available in 5 Variations:
Palette #1 for very light complexions
Palette #2 for very light to light complexions
Palette #3 for light complexions
Palette #4 for deep complexions
Palette #5 for professional makeup artists

The palettes are described as highly concentrated in pigments for maximum coverage.  According to make-up forever website 'The flesh coloured shades are effective for hiding circles or puffy eyes, pigmentation and scars, while the corrective shades conceal hyper-pigmentation

Lets take a look at the shades included:

The first shade is very light and pretty close to my actual skin-tone, so perfect for concealing spots and pigmentation quickly.

The second shade is slightly darker, so perfect to use when I have a tan. Perfect for mixing with the first shade, to find the right colour for your skin

The third shade is a little more orange and I find it is the perfect shade for concealing and correcting the dark circles around my eyes (a great alternative to my Bobbi Brown Corrector) Also it does not tend to crease in the fine lines around my eyes and its really creamy too, so very easy to apply and its very effective at hiding my dark circles.

The fourth shade is again, a step darker, I tend to mix this with shade number 3 to create the perfect shade for correcting the dark circles under my eyes

The final shade is a light green; used to conceal spots and other redness on the skin. This is really good at hiding redness and I tend to apply it under my foundation for added coverage for any rather red and sore looking spots.

So how do they perform?

They are all beautiful, creamy and you can mix the concealers together to create the perfect colour for your skin tone.

The creamy formula makes them easy to blend onto the skin and they last on my oily skin throughout the day without having to top-up.

These long-lasting, creamy concealers are perfect for hiding dark circles, spots and any other skin problems.

I'm so chuffed I managed to pick this palette up for only £7.99, a brilliant bargain for something I've used everyday since purchasing.

Grab it while you can!

MAC Strobe Cream Mini Review

Strobing is something I'd never even heard of until I started watching Rupauls Drag Race a few years ago (in the Sharon Needles Era: AKA the good ol' days!) Strobing has been described as overdone highlighting: However strobing to me is not only highlighting certain facial features but also adding dimension and texture to the area too. Admittedly, its not something I would bother doing every day. But on special occasions I like to highlight my favourite features (usually my cheekbones)  I received the MAC Strobe Cream as a little try-out sample after buying too many lipsticks over on the MAC website. I was pretty chuffed as I've wanted to try out the Strobe Cream for ages now!  MAC describe the Strobe Cream as 'a  moisturiser that boosts the look of dull skin and luminises with iridescent particles' So perfect for my tired skin that needs a bit of a boost!  I love the little packaging, in fact I would say I'm a bit obsessed with miniature ve...

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer Review

I'm obsessed with concealers, and I'm always on the hunt for the perfect one! I currently use the Nars Radiant Concealer ( Review Here ) for under my eyes and the Benefit Boi-ing Concealer for spots etc.  I recently purchased the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer as I'd read good reviews online and I wash hoping it might be a dupe for my trusty Nars Concealer.  Firstly there is one massive downside to this concealer: There are only THREE Shades! That just seems lazy! Especially in this day and age where you can purchase some concealers which have over 30 shades to choose from!  I have the shade 'Light' and for once, it is indeed actually Light! It's gorgeously pale (it may even be too pale for some people, so I would suggest swatching it next to the other shades if unsure)  It is specifically designed for the delicate eye area and it offers 24 hour hydration to the area around the eyes to offer hydration throughout the day, leaving eyes...

Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil Review

An oil for your face? Yes, Yes, Yes! If you would have told me years ago, when I was a hormonal teenager with many breakouts to use oil on my face I would have laughed at you, but the Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil, has made such a difference to my skin, I am a complete oil convert.  I have quite red, sensitive, often sore skin and this calms it right down. Its deeply nourishing and hydrating. I've heard it described as a conditioner for the skin.  I usually use it a night when my skin is looking dry and frazzled. As you can see with the roller-ball application, you just roll it onto the skin (I swipe across each cheek and my forehead) and then gently massage into the skin. Its just such a gorgeous and luxurious feeling treat for the skin.  It has never broke me out and it has kept my skin feeling and looking a lot more luminous. It doesn't make my skin shinny and doesn't leave any kind of weird residue on the skin; leaving my skin feeling moisturised and l...
