This Works No Wrinkles Eye Repair Eye Cream Review

If your a regular reader of my blog, you will know that I'm pretty obsessed with eye creams and serums. I've recently had a baby (I say recently even though she's 8 months old, as it has gone soo fast! I still think of her as a tiny little baba, but she's crawling all over the place and I can already tell that she's going to be a mischief maker! Anyway, don't get me talking about babies, you'll be here all day!)

Back to the job in hand: A review of the 'This Works' No Wrinkles Eye Repair Serum. I picked this up after seeing it for only £12.99 on the TKMaxx website (unfortunately it's sold out now) But take a look in your local TKMaxx store to see if you can still grab some. Honestly I've become a little obsessed with TKMaxx, the amount of bargains I've bought from there lately has been crazy (So many of those Too Face lip glosses and mountains of skincare and of course Candles!) Anywho, I digress (again) back to the review..........

So the This Works No Wrinkles Eye Repair Serum is a Retinol based cream that helps to repair and enhance the delicate eye area. The formula includes Hyluronic Acid and Argan oil to moisturise, protect and encourage skin cell renewal.

I must say, I love the plain and simple packaging of the product, it looks very classic and sophisticated. However this may look huge, there is still only 15ml of product: It is more packaging than product, which is a little misleading. So be aware that although it may look huge, you still only get 15ml of product!

I've been using this at night before I go to sleep for around 6 weeks now. I adore the pump action (although you have to be careful not to pump too much and end up wasting the product) Its easy to apply, doesn't feel greasy and absorbs quickly.

One thing I would say is that a few weeks ago, I pumped out too much of the product and decided to apply loads to my eye area; unfortunately because the product is so thick, it made my eyes look a little puffy, so my advice would be to use the product sparingly (you really do not need much at-all)

So does it work? YES! Before using this I was using the Estee Lauder Eye Repair Serum (one of the best eye creams on the market, but it can be a little heavy sometimes and it is mega expensive) The This Works No Wrinkles Eye Serum has been fantastic. I've found that the shadow under my eyes is a lot less prominent after using this for the last couple of weeks. The pigmentation under my eyes is definitely less prominent, the shadows under my eyes are less noticeable and I do feel like I look a little more wide awake than usual.

Of course, it's not a miracle worker, I've personally not noticed any reduction in wrinkles, however I'm only 29 and quite frankly I refuse to believe that I have any! Ha!

Overall it has become my new favourite eye cream for reducing dark circles and pigmentation. It has definitely improved the appearance of the skin around my eyes, making me look a little less exhausted.

Once I run out (which I fear may be soon, as I've used it every night for 6 weeks) I will repurchase (even at full price) Honestly I would 100% recommend this if your on the look out for a new eye serum.

MAC Strobe Cream Mini Review

Strobing is something I'd never even heard of until I started watching Rupauls Drag Race a few years ago (in the Sharon Needles Era: AKA the good ol' days!) Strobing has been described as overdone highlighting: However strobing to me is not only highlighting certain facial features but also adding dimension and texture to the area too. Admittedly, its not something I would bother doing every day. But on special occasions I like to highlight my favourite features (usually my cheekbones)  I received the MAC Strobe Cream as a little try-out sample after buying too many lipsticks over on the MAC website. I was pretty chuffed as I've wanted to try out the Strobe Cream for ages now!  MAC describe the Strobe Cream as 'a  moisturiser that boosts the look of dull skin and luminises with iridescent particles' So perfect for my tired skin that needs a bit of a boost!  I love the little packaging, in fact I would say I'm a bit obsessed with miniature ve...

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer Review

I'm obsessed with concealers, and I'm always on the hunt for the perfect one! I currently use the Nars Radiant Concealer ( Review Here ) for under my eyes and the Benefit Boi-ing Concealer for spots etc.  I recently purchased the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer as I'd read good reviews online and I wash hoping it might be a dupe for my trusty Nars Concealer.  Firstly there is one massive downside to this concealer: There are only THREE Shades! That just seems lazy! Especially in this day and age where you can purchase some concealers which have over 30 shades to choose from!  I have the shade 'Light' and for once, it is indeed actually Light! It's gorgeously pale (it may even be too pale for some people, so I would suggest swatching it next to the other shades if unsure)  It is specifically designed for the delicate eye area and it offers 24 hour hydration to the area around the eyes to offer hydration throughout the day, leaving eyes...

Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil Review

An oil for your face? Yes, Yes, Yes! If you would have told me years ago, when I was a hormonal teenager with many breakouts to use oil on my face I would have laughed at you, but the Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil, has made such a difference to my skin, I am a complete oil convert.  I have quite red, sensitive, often sore skin and this calms it right down. Its deeply nourishing and hydrating. I've heard it described as a conditioner for the skin.  I usually use it a night when my skin is looking dry and frazzled. As you can see with the roller-ball application, you just roll it onto the skin (I swipe across each cheek and my forehead) and then gently massage into the skin. Its just such a gorgeous and luxurious feeling treat for the skin.  It has never broke me out and it has kept my skin feeling and looking a lot more luminous. It doesn't make my skin shinny and doesn't leave any kind of weird residue on the skin; leaving my skin feeling moisturised and l...
