So Does it Work?
Yes, ever since I had Emmy, I've not been able to do a full-face of make-up everyday. So I'm constantly on the hunt for multitasking skin-care products as I'm always in a rush to get ready. And I must say that this does do exactly what it says on the tub. Used as a moisturiser it makes skin feel silky and soft. Used as a primer, it makes skin appear smooth and poreless.

My instant hesitation with this was that it would be too thick and heavy for my combination skin, however it doesn't break me out at-all or make skin look greasy.

I love the way it feels, as its like really thick and creamy, and gives a luxurious feel. Like a sorbet for the skin!

Its rare to find a moisturiser so thick, that easily melts into skin without feeling heavy or cakey. It makes skin feel fresh and awake (something as a new mum, I really need!)

Of course there's only so much these 'blurring' products can do for your skin. They help to cover certain imperfections, but if you have blemishes, they will still show, so will redness (I have very red skin and honestly, only very thick foundation can cover it)

While its blurring technology can't conceal every imperfection (I should be so lucky) it does help to fill in some fine-lines and seems to blur the appearance of large pores on my nose. Leaving skin looking more refressed and less exhausted.

I really like this moisturiser as it makes me feel a little more 'me' when I've been up with the baby all night.

Admittedly its not a miracle worker (I'm still on the hunt for that miracle product that can cure all my skin ailments.) BUT it is a lovely creamy moisturiser which provides hydration to even the driest skin without leaving it feeling greasy, or causing break-outs.

It also works really well under make-up as a skin primer, as it creates a silky soft base for foundation to sit on. It hides dry patches and doesn't make skin oily.

I use this under my MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and it works really well to keep skin hydrated and moisturised while wearing such a heavy foundation. It helps foundation to last longer on the skin and hides dry patches throughout the day.

This is the perfect two in one if you want to cut time out of your morning routine. Although my morning routine has gone out of the window since I had Emmy. I'm always looking for time saving products and this is one that I love.

It also says that you can use over make-up for touch up throughout the day. However I've found this to be a little troublesome. On my foundation it just looks too thick and strange. Plus why would I put moisturiser over my foundation? Surely I would just wait until I take my make-up off in the evening and use a ultra hydrating moisturiser if I'm worried about my skin being that dry? On the other hand it skin feels oily throughout the day I would just use my usual powder (Rimmel Stay Matte Powder)

Overall
At £24 its not the cheapest moisturiser on the market, however it is one of favourites that I've tried. Its great for leaving skin looking and feeling hydrated without it looking shiny or oily. It also works well at creating a silky soft base for my foundation. A great two in one that has really helped my oily skin.

MAC Strobe Cream Mini Review

Strobing is something I'd never even heard of until I started watching Rupauls Drag Race a few years ago (in the Sharon Needles Era: AKA the good ol' days!) Strobing has been described as overdone highlighting: However strobing to me is not only highlighting certain facial features but also adding dimension and texture to the area too. Admittedly, its not something I would bother doing every day. But on special occasions I like to highlight my favourite features (usually my cheekbones)  I received the MAC Strobe Cream as a little try-out sample after buying too many lipsticks over on the MAC website. I was pretty chuffed as I've wanted to try out the Strobe Cream for ages now!  MAC describe the Strobe Cream as 'a  moisturiser that boosts the look of dull skin and luminises with iridescent particles' So perfect for my tired skin that needs a bit of a boost!  I love the little packaging, in fact I would say I'm a bit obsessed with miniature ve...

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer Review

I'm obsessed with concealers, and I'm always on the hunt for the perfect one! I currently use the Nars Radiant Concealer ( Review Here ) for under my eyes and the Benefit Boi-ing Concealer for spots etc.  I recently purchased the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer as I'd read good reviews online and I wash hoping it might be a dupe for my trusty Nars Concealer.  Firstly there is one massive downside to this concealer: There are only THREE Shades! That just seems lazy! Especially in this day and age where you can purchase some concealers which have over 30 shades to choose from!  I have the shade 'Light' and for once, it is indeed actually Light! It's gorgeously pale (it may even be too pale for some people, so I would suggest swatching it next to the other shades if unsure)  It is specifically designed for the delicate eye area and it offers 24 hour hydration to the area around the eyes to offer hydration throughout the day, leaving eyes...

Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil Review

An oil for your face? Yes, Yes, Yes! If you would have told me years ago, when I was a hormonal teenager with many breakouts to use oil on my face I would have laughed at you, but the Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil, has made such a difference to my skin, I am a complete oil convert.  I have quite red, sensitive, often sore skin and this calms it right down. Its deeply nourishing and hydrating. I've heard it described as a conditioner for the skin.  I usually use it a night when my skin is looking dry and frazzled. As you can see with the roller-ball application, you just roll it onto the skin (I swipe across each cheek and my forehead) and then gently massage into the skin. Its just such a gorgeous and luxurious feeling treat for the skin.  It has never broke me out and it has kept my skin feeling and looking a lot more luminous. It doesn't make my skin shinny and doesn't leave any kind of weird residue on the skin; leaving my skin feeling moisturised and l...
