How to Find a Beauty Bargain

I'm constantly on the look out for a beauty bargain; here's what I do to make sure I get the most bang for my buck.

Check the 'New In' Section on Bargain websites daily, to ensure you don't miss out on the best bargains. I check out TKMaxx and Feel Unique ALOT to see what they have, as the better the bargain the faster it sells out

Search Ebay, Depop and Facebook Market Place Although people on these sites can be extremely annoying! You may be able to find yourself a bargain.

Look-Out for Coupons and Remember to use them: My Favourites are the ones from Boots, as I shop here a lot, and they offer some really good vouchers (Sign up for a Boots Cards / Parenting Club / Also in the Boots Magazine)

Check out the Bargain Shelves: Seriously, I've had some crazy bargains from the Boots bargain corner. TKMaxx is great place to try too; although hunting for the right product may take a while (I swear someone goes in and purposely messes-up all the make-up!)

Check out the Pound Shops (Honestly) it's surprising what you can find in these places.

Follow Bloggers to find discounts. Bloggers usually team up with brands and promote codes and offers.

Look out for Beauty Boxes. No, I'm not telling you to sign up to glossybox, but some of the 'one off' beauty boxes can be amazing. I really like the Latest In Beauty Boxes (They had Charlotte Tilbury bits and bobs a few weeks ago!) and I must say the Look Fantastic Boxes have some really nice bits in them.

Don't be afraid to ask for samples at beauty counters. This can be nerve-racking, but most of the time, the staff are really nice and willing to offer items for you to try before you buy.

Search #beautysale hashtags on Twitter and Instagram to see what people are selling. You can find a couple of bargains this way; I've bought quite a few Lush items from other Lushies on instagram. Most people tend to be quite nice, however make sure you use Paypal Goods and Services for payment, just in case.

Keep an eye out for Gifts with Purchases (The Space NK and Harvey Nichols tend to be amazing, however they do usually require a spend of around £200, but it may be a good time to stock up on your favourite products and grab some much needed freebies at the same time.

Sign up for emails from your favourite companies to see what they can offer you: Usually discounts and Sales access for registering with them. If you don't want too much spam in your inbox, set up another email account for emails.

Sign up to free rewards cards Boots, Debenhams and Marks and Spencer's are my current favourites.

Absolutely skint? Remember to Shop your Stash I have found some things I'd forgot I'd even bought by looking through all my make-up and skincare. Plus if you find items you no longer use, you can sell them and put the money to items you want.

What top-tips do you have for finding beauty bargains?

MAC Strobe Cream Mini Review

Strobing is something I'd never even heard of until I started watching Rupauls Drag Race a few years ago (in the Sharon Needles Era: AKA the good ol' days!) Strobing has been described as overdone highlighting: However strobing to me is not only highlighting certain facial features but also adding dimension and texture to the area too. Admittedly, its not something I would bother doing every day. But on special occasions I like to highlight my favourite features (usually my cheekbones)  I received the MAC Strobe Cream as a little try-out sample after buying too many lipsticks over on the MAC website. I was pretty chuffed as I've wanted to try out the Strobe Cream for ages now!  MAC describe the Strobe Cream as 'a  moisturiser that boosts the look of dull skin and luminises with iridescent particles' So perfect for my tired skin that needs a bit of a boost!  I love the little packaging, in fact I would say I'm a bit obsessed with miniature ve...

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer Review

I'm obsessed with concealers, and I'm always on the hunt for the perfect one! I currently use the Nars Radiant Concealer ( Review Here ) for under my eyes and the Benefit Boi-ing Concealer for spots etc.  I recently purchased the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer as I'd read good reviews online and I wash hoping it might be a dupe for my trusty Nars Concealer.  Firstly there is one massive downside to this concealer: There are only THREE Shades! That just seems lazy! Especially in this day and age where you can purchase some concealers which have over 30 shades to choose from!  I have the shade 'Light' and for once, it is indeed actually Light! It's gorgeously pale (it may even be too pale for some people, so I would suggest swatching it next to the other shades if unsure)  It is specifically designed for the delicate eye area and it offers 24 hour hydration to the area around the eyes to offer hydration throughout the day, leaving eyes...

Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil Review

An oil for your face? Yes, Yes, Yes! If you would have told me years ago, when I was a hormonal teenager with many breakouts to use oil on my face I would have laughed at you, but the Balance Me Rose Otto Face Oil, has made such a difference to my skin, I am a complete oil convert.  I have quite red, sensitive, often sore skin and this calms it right down. Its deeply nourishing and hydrating. I've heard it described as a conditioner for the skin.  I usually use it a night when my skin is looking dry and frazzled. As you can see with the roller-ball application, you just roll it onto the skin (I swipe across each cheek and my forehead) and then gently massage into the skin. Its just such a gorgeous and luxurious feeling treat for the skin.  It has never broke me out and it has kept my skin feeling and looking a lot more luminous. It doesn't make my skin shinny and doesn't leave any kind of weird residue on the skin; leaving my skin feeling moisturised and l...
